Vintage Secla Citron Yellow Cabbage Tea Pot

Vintage from the 1950’s. Exquisite quality with no chips or cracks. Some crazing given use over time. There are a few production imperfections due to the manufacturing process, please see images for detail.

These were purchased from an estate sale in Muncie, Indiana in early 2025. Happy to send additional images, if needed.

According to Worthpoint, “SECLA Portugal opened Estúdio SECLA, a pottery studio in the 1950’s. It employed modern ceramic artists such as Ferreira da Silva, Ian Hird, Julio Pomar, and António Quadro, and Hansi Staël.

In 1990, SECLA Portugal had over 700 employees. During the 1990s, inexpensive Asian imports negatively impacted the company’s finances. Production ceased in June 2008.”
